A retractable awning in Larue Acres
In Larue Acres, Rogers, the job on our books is a retractable awning, logged 2024. The arms fold flat against the wall when you want sun and reach out when you want shade. The pitch adjusts, so you can drop the front edge as the sun moves. The photo shows a charcoal fabric awning over a deck with black board siding and a black railing, with trees behind.
Awnings come manual or motorized, and a manual unit can have a motor added later. Housing colors and fabrics are picked in daylight at the house. We also hang motorized retractable screens on the same patios when bugs, wind or low sun are the problem.
Our install in Larue Acres
What to expect from us
A few plain facts for anyone in Larue Acres, Rogers looking at a retractable awning. An install runs 2 to 4 hours, depending on the size. A 10 foot width with an 8 foot projection is routine. We come out in person, because housing colors and fabrics have to be seen in daylight and we check the mounting on site. The visit takes about twenty minutes and costs nothing. Mounting to a beam behind siding is standard for us. Standoff brackets keep the load off the siding, and the fasteners land in solid structure.
Can I add a motor later?
