Quiz questions, answered

How accurate is the price range?

It uses the ranges we quote every day: about $4,000 to $6,000 installed for a single opening of 8x8 to 12x12 feet, and about $8,000 to $15,000 for two to four screens on a covered patio. A free laser measure gives the firm number.

Which direction is the hottest patio?

West and southwest patios take the strongest afternoon sun, usually from mid-afternoon into the evening in summer. South gets the high midday sun. East gets it in the morning, and north gets very little direct sun.

Do I need a different fabric for bugs and for sun?

Yes. Insect mesh and No-See-Um mesh are made for bugs, Nano 95 is for sun and heat with a clear view, and Nano 99 is for privacy. On a patio with two or three sides, we often mix fabrics by side.

What if my opening is wider than 12 feet?

Patio openings can be built up to 30 feet wide and 18 feet high on a single screen, and garage openings up to 32 feet wide. Those jobs are priced after a free measure.

Is the quiz a quote?

No. It is a quick way to get oriented. The firm quote comes in writing after the owners measure your opening, usually within a day, with no deposit.

Prefer to just talk?

Call the office or text a photo of your patio. The owners answer both themselves.
