Pollen season in Overton West
In Overton West, Fayetteville, the work on our books is a pollen, logged 2026. They were tired of wiping yellow dust off the patio table every April. Mesh across the opening is the practical cut, not a miracle filter. We hung retractable sunscreens. In the photo you can see a dark screen partly lowered on a covered patio of a gray-green sided house, with a black iron fence and lawn.
Color is a site decision. Standard housing colors or a custom powder coat, picked in daylight in Overton West. No-see-um screens when the gnats are the reason they called. Lanai screens and motorized patio enclosures are names we hear from people who lived somewhere else.

How we handle a screen job
This is how we run a screen job in Overton West. Our screens held on a home in Little Flock, AR that took an EF2 tornado. The roof came off and the screens had no blowouts. Most installers in this area mount under the header, which leaves the housing sitting in your view. We mount above it, on every job. From a signed contract to install day is 3 to 4 weeks, and trucks deliver weekly. The housing mounts above the header, out of sight, and the screen drops from above.
Where does the housing go?
Above the header, out of sight. The screen drops from above, so the housing is not sitting in your view.
