NWA Security Shutters ("we," "us") operates nwasecurityshutters.com, including our Screen Viewer design tool and our website chat assistant. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Short version: we collect what we need to give you quotes and run our tools, we don’t sell your information, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Information we collect
- Contact and quote details you give us — name, phone number, street address, email, city, and what you’d like screened or shaded, when you submit them through our chat assistant, quote forms, or the Screen Viewer signup.
- Sign-in information — when you create a Screen Viewer account with Google, Facebook, or an email and password, we receive your name (if provided), email address, and a unique account identifier. We never see your Google or Facebook password. Passwords for email accounts are handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see those either.
- Screen Viewer activity — photos you upload of your home’s openings, the designs you build (fabric, housing, sizes), saved images, and basic usage such as sign-ins and how many AI measurements you run.
- Website basics — standard analytics and log information such as pages visited and general location, used to run and improve the site.
How we use it
- To respond to your quote requests and provide free estimates — including calling, texting, or emailing you back when you ask us to.
- To run the Screen Viewer: show your photo, render screens on it, estimate opening sizes, and let you save and resume designs.
- To notify our own staff (by text message) when a new lead or account comes in, so we respond quickly.
- To prevent abuse of our tools and protect our business.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We do not send marketing spam. Contact from us relates to your quote, project, or account.
- We do not post your photos publicly. Photos of completed jobs appear on our site only from our own crews or with the homeowner’s permission.
Services we rely on
Your data is processed by a small set of service providers that power the site: Google Firebase (hosting, authentication, database, and storage), Anthropic (the AI that estimates opening sizes from photos in the Screen Viewer), Textbelt (staff text-message notifications), and sign-in providers you choose (Google or Facebook). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Retention
We keep quote and account information while it’s useful for serving you and for our business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see below.
Your choices & deleting your data
You can request a copy of your information or ask us to delete your Screen Viewer account, photos, designs, and lead details. Instructions are on our Data Deletion page, or simply call or text (479) 313-5177 or email crossland@nwasecurityshutters.com.
Children
Our services are for homeowners and businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
