The porch opening in Wilkins Estates
The porch had a roof and posts. We did not build a room. We hung a screen in the opening the builder left. What left on the truck was exterior sun screens, the same build people call sunscreens and motorized retractable screens. In the photo you can see a light gray screen closed above a covered patio on a brick house, with a grill and turf below.
Grilling, pets, pollen, and a west sun can all be true on one opening. We still pick one mesh. Retractable bug screens do not block heat the way sunscreens do. Privacy screens do not replace a fence. We say which problem the porch screen is solving, then we hang that one.

What to expect from us
Looking at screens for a Wilkins Estates patio, porch or garage opening? Start here. We install our own work. No subcontractors get handed the job. Most installers in this area mount under the header, which leaves the housing sitting in your view. We mount above it, on every job. We measure and quote in straight inches, the same way the shop builds. The housing mounts above the header, out of sight, and the screen drops from above.
Who does the install?
We do. No subcontractors.
Where does the housing go?
Above the header, out of sight. The screen drops from above, so the housing is not sitting in your view.
